Where is the combine being held?

 

We will be playing on the MIT playing fields which are 2 Field Turf Fields. We also have access to an indoor court in case of inclement weather.

 

Where will residential players be housed?

 

Combine players will be housed in MIT dormitories. They will be housed 2 players/room and each room shares a common area that has a refrigerator and oven. Linens will be included so no need to bring them.

 

How will I get from the airport to MIT?

 

Due to NCAA rules the coaches cannot pick up players at the airport. Three options for transport are the subway system (Kendall Square on the red line borders MIT and costs $2—the MIT Shuttle will pick you up from the Kendall Square stop and drop you off about 100 yards from the dorm), a taxi (expect to pay roughly $30 for a taxi), a shuttle service (there are many to choose from typically costing $15 to $20).

 

What type of training does the combine include?

 

You will have training sessions that include functional training (training that is specific to your position) and training that is topic specific with college head coaches. You will also have a classroom session to go over some off the field development and some personal evaluation work to further add to your awareness as a player.

 

Do I have to stay overnight?

 

No, we do have a commuter option for the combine.
